Text by Matthew Turner: The grain shafts are part retained and made into a visitor/culture/heritage experience recalling the original process for grain storage, and creating exhibition/public space. Alongside, a 'silo for inhabitants' is created, loosely turning the form of the silo on it side, with hit-and-miss structure and windows creating a dynamism for inhabitation. Parking is a accommodated on a 'parking boat' moored off the dock.
