Text by Helena Casanova: A green strip of public space with different uses crosses the study area from West to East. Creating a huge contrast with this open area, the rest of the location is colonized by a high dense intervention with very different housing typologies: courtyard dwellings, apartments, row houses, patios houses, etc placed within very fragmented architectural envelopes with terraces, sets-backs and cantilevered parts on different levels.
The blocks of the houses are placed perpendicular to the park strip, facing each other along narrow inner streets. Big parking surfaces are placed on ground floor, its presence minimized by the entrance of some dwellings on this level. Mostly the housing program and the green collective and private areas are to find on top of the parking surface, on the first floor.
